Nilo k/kovar alloy as also known as W.NR 1.398,UNS K94610,AWS 094,ASTM F15,Alloy-F15 therlo,Alloy 12B, UNS K94610 FeNi29Co17,Chinese 4J29.

 

A Nickel-Iron-Cobalt, controlled expansion alloy containing 29% Nickel.

Its coefficient of expansion (which decreases with rising temperature to

the inflection point), matches the expansion rate of borosilicate glasses

and alumina ceramics.
